Unboxing Geek Fuel’s Mystery Box for May 2017 – GET $3 OFF!!

Geek Fuel is a subscription service that sends you a Monthly Mystery Box filled with everything you need to feed your geeky lifestyle. Each box contains an exclusive t-shirt, collectibles, and toys plus a downloadable Steam game. You can get the box reviewed in this article until the end of the month for $24.90 (including shipping). You can also choose a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription to get your boxes at discounted rates. Not too shabby when you consider that each box is valued at $50, minimum! On top of that, you can use our link to Geek Fuel’s website and get $3 dollars off your plan!

Finding a package from Geek Fuel on my doorstep has definitely become a bright spot in my month. Not knowing the contents of the package makes it all the more fun, but I have certainly come to expect it will be amazing. Check out the contents of this month’s box to see if you agree! You can also check out my previous reviews, as well.

Every box includes a handy card that details the items that are included.

An issue of Geek Fuel Magazine is included, as well. It’s fitting to see Rocket and baby Groot on the cover after the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Each issue of the mini magazine covers information on various games, shows, movies, and merchandise so there’s something to satisfy any brand of geek.

While Geek Fuel doesn’t have a theme for their boxes (the variety is part of what makes them so great), Dungeons & Dragons does seem to star a bit. I don’t know a whole lot about the game, but this article on the Demogorgon was an interesting read! And speaking of a Demogorgon, check out this month’s exclusive shirt!

Even if I’m no expert on D&D, I always appreciate the detail and quality of the shirts in each Geek Fuel box. I’m sure wearing it will spark up an interesting conversation somewhere!

I’ve heard of Funko POP! figures, but this is the first I’ve gotten. I’m off to a great start, too, because I love Family Guy! I got Ray Gun Stewie, but you can also get regular Stewie. The only problem is, if I have a Stewie figure then I just have to get a Brian, too…

The next item in this month’s box serves a functional purpose as well as sporting Marvel characters. It’s a “zip-up power pouch!” Mine features Spider-Man, but you can also receive ones that feature Iron Man, The Hulk and a couple that feature a variety of Marvel heroes.

The face on the side looks really awesome. I’m not sure what I’ll do with it, but it might help with organizing the surplus of items I tote around in my cinch sack…

Of course, the box includes an enamel pin that features a random character in the form of Geek Fuel’s mascot (a robot on tracks).

I got Constrictor Commander. I’m sure he’s a fearsome enemy, indeed, but in this form he comes off as kind of adorable. The pin can also feature Dest-Droid or the rare Serpent Emperor.

Last but not least, the Steam game featured this month is Kaiju Panic.

It’s looks to be quite an interesting game in which you rescue survivors of a meteorite attack and giant beasts called “Kaiju.” The style is action-strategy, and its bright animation gives it a cutesy look.

I’m never sorry to be another “shoebox-ful” of nerdy stuff from Geek Fuel, and I love not knowing what goodies they’ll deliver next month. If you like what you see in this box, you still have plenty of time to get it! Or maybe you’re totally sold and want to get a subscription. Either way, make sure you follow this link to get 3 dollars off!
