Samsung Expected to Announce the Galaxy S4 on March 14th

Rumors and speculations regarding the upcoming flagship Samsung superphone, the Galaxy S4 have been non-stop during the first two months of 2013.  Although, now it looks like we might have something more interesting coming directly Russia.

Eldrar Murtazin, founder of Mobile-Review (a Russian Blog) has tweeted something important that seems like an official date, for the highly-anticipated device, and the predecessor to the Galaxy S3. According to the Russian blogger, March 14th is an important date and there will be a huge announcement in New York. Although, we all know this might be another rumor, and should be taken with a pinch (or even less) of salt. But, a March/April release date seems highly likely. So, it is very possible that the Galaxy S4 might just be a month away.

Galaxy S4 Announcement; March or April?

Samsung’s own exec’s have stated that the device will be coming out pretty “Soon”; there were also reports that the device will make its debut at MWC 13 in Barcelona; but those reports were shot down by Samsung’s JK Shin. We also have other reports that suggest March 22nd as the date of release for the device. So, it is safe to assume that the device will be making its way to the market in March, most likely.

Would it be Able to beat the next iPhone?

There are numerous high-end Android devices coming out each month, but an addition to the Galaxy S line-up is the equivalent of an iPhone release in the Android world. Galaxy S devices sit alongside Apple’s iPhones in terms of popularity. It is the most successful series of phones in the Android world, and has proven to be the top-seller time after time. The current Galaxy S3 has sold over 10 million units in slightly over six months, and people are already waiting anxiously for the next Galaxy Superphone to hit the market. We don’t have much info regarding the Galaxy S4, but we will keep you posted as we learn more about the device. Stay tuned and subscribe to our email updates.
