Outfits Inspired by Your Favorite Characters
Have you guys ever wanted to dress up like certain characters, but aren’t sure how to go about it? Sometimes your favorite characters, like Batman and The Little Mermaid, can give you some awesome fashion inspiration. I’ve pulled together looks from some of these characters to get you started! The best part will be going out and seeing if anyone guesses your fashion inspiration, then you’ll know they are just as geeky as you are.
Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn is known for being silly, sexy, and crazy! Making an Harley Quinn inspired outfit would be awesome. You can pull together many different outfits for Harley Quinn since there have been quite a few redesigns over the years. If you want a look that’s more dressy and girly then you can wear a simple black dress and pair them with red pumps. If you’re looking for something more casual, you can wear a red and black flannel, with black jeans, and red combat boots. You can mix and match these outfits and change the black jeans to black tights, the red pumps to red flats, and so on.
The Little Mermaid
An Ariel inspired outfit would be perfect for when it’s bright and sunny outside. Wearing a green maxi skirt and a purple crop top would make a cute outfit that gives a nod to one of our favorite Disney characters. If you want something more casual you can use that same crop top with green jeans.
Batman
He is very dark, mysterious, and wears a combination of black and grey. A Batman inspired outfit would be great on one of those days you’re not feeling colorful. You can wear a black flowy skirt or even a pencil skirt, black and grey striped crop top would pair the look off nicely. For more of an everyday look you can wear black jeans, grey t-shirt, and some grey vans. Don’t forget to throw in a touch of yellow!
Princess Zelda
Princess Zelda is such a beautiful and majestic character, so an outfit like this will truly make you feel like a princess. One outfit idea would be to pair a lavender skirt and with a lavender crop top or even a white top. Or you can wear this gorgeous lavender maxi dress. All these outfits can be paired with white sandals or white wedges. A Princess Zelda inspired outfit will definitely make you truly feel like the geeky princess you are!
 Yoda
Even though Yoda is not exactly a fashionista, if he is your favorite character then you can certainly use him as inspiration for an outfit and look amazing! Since it’s summertime, you can wear these olive shorts and an olive top. If you want to dress up, then you can wear this olive romper. To get the look that Yoda has with the brown cloak you can wear this brown cardigan or this brown trench coat. Finally, you top it all off by wearing brown thong sandals or brown wedges.
These outfits are original and transform you into your favorite character without actually buying a costume, but instead with everyday clothes you can wear out at anytime.
