Super Retro Trio Offers Three Classic Consoles in One

So, the most difficult decision I had to make in my childhood was definitely the one to choose between, Charmander, Squirtle or Bulbasaur. Although, there was another decision that made my life pretty difficult, that was to pick either SNES or Sega Genesis, as my console because my Dad wouldn’t let me have both. Both were 16-bit consoles and both shared a wide variety of exclusives to choose from. Well, finally, I had to go with SNES because I had played on my brother’s NES first, so, I was inclined to buy its successor.

Super Retro Trio is a Retro Dream Come True

However, my fellow readers, you don’t have to go through the daunting task of choosing between any of the retro consoles now. Why you ask? Well, there’s a an upcoming console that features 3-in-1 awesomeness of the retro gaming world. The new Super Retro Trio offers 3-in-1 gaming, which includes cartridge and controller slots for , NES, SNES and Sega Genesis. Yes, you read it right.

The Super Retro Trio will come with a pair of controllers, a power adapter, S-Video connection and A/V cables. The console will also support an add-on cartridge, Super Retro Adapter that will let you play GameBoy Advance cartridges on your console.

The Super Retro Trio console will come with a price tag of $70, while the Super Retro Adapter will retail for $40. However if you buy both, as a bundle, then you will get them for a discounted price of $90, that’s quite a discount.

The Super Retro Tri will be launched at this year’s E3, which is scheduled in June. The Console and the Adapter will be available for purchase on Innex website.

I wish we had these type of consoles back in the day so we could have enjoyed the best of both worlds. Well, I did enjoy best of both worlds because my best friend had a Sega Genesis, and we exchanged our consoles to experience the exclusive awesomeness.
