Travelling can be stressful, especially when you have to lug around heavy luggage while desperately trying not to miss your flight.

Kevin O’Donnell, the inventor of Modobag, was contemplating how travelling could be made easier when the first motorized and rideable luggage came to mind. “The idea struck him,” says Modobag, “when he was pulling the kids on his suitcase in the airport, and wondered, ‘Why can’t we ride our luggage and get to where we’re going faster with less stress?'”

Luggage You Can Ride On

The Modobag is a carry-on luggage with the innovative technology that allows you to choose whether you want to pull your luggage, or simply ride it. If you find yourself in a rush, riding this carry-on might be the better option since it’s three times faster than walking. Its frame is compact and fits perfectly in the overhead compartment without sacrificing too much storage space as it holds 85 percent of the storage of a regular carry-on.

Not only will this super cool invention get you to your boarding gate a lot faster, the Modobag is also equipped with a a GPS that allows you to keep track of where your personal goods are at all times. This unique luggage can also charge all your gadgets with its USB plug-in located on its blue lit dashboard. The device can travel up to 6 miles, on a speed of 5 km/h, before it needs a battery recharge. The physical design of the luggage is also quite fashionable and professional.

Incorporating transportation into a luggage seems pretty practical and convenient. Check out the Modobag in action in the video below. Would you opt out of walking the next time you travel?
