4 Internet Browser Tricks To Make Life Easier – Geek Insider FYI
Life could be so much easier for you. Trust us, we’re the experts, especially when it comes to tech stuff. So, check out these four lifehacks that will greatly improve your internet experience.
Download Your Favorite Youtube Video
Sometimes you find an amazing video on Youtube and you really want to keep it so you can watch it whenever you want, without having to wait for it to buffer and load. Of course, Youtube does its best to make sure you can’t do it. Of course, there are some legitimate reasons for this; no one wants anyone stealing their videos and using them for who knows what. But that’s not everyone. Sometimes you just really love those internet cats and you want to have them ready to cheer you up on any sad day you might have.
It’s actually pretty easy to download the video you want off of Youtube. Just add “ss” after the “www.” in the url.
You might see this;
Don’t worry, just hit PROCEED ANYWAY, you’ll be directed to this site;
Just hit DOWNLOAD to get the video you want.
Edit/Download Any Youtube, Reddit, or Image You Want
This is great if you want to edit, copy, download, or access any extra information about almost anything on the internet. Just add “deturl.com/” in front of any Youtube, Reddit, or image URL.
You might get the same warning sign, just hit PROCEED ANYWAY again. You’ll see this site;
You can access all sorts of options on this site, just by pasting the URL you want in the little box. As you can see on the right, there are options to convert the file to a MP3 or download a video. Click on the TOOLS AND TRICKS for even more options.
Tired of Youtube Loading Your Video In Jerky Segments?
Youtube can be pretty annoying as it slowly and tediously loads the latest Jenna Marbles video in violent jerks and stalling pauses. There is actually a way for you to force Youtube to load the entire video rather than load in the small segments. What could this miracle be? Youtube Center.
Add this extension to your browser and go to Youtube. There will be a new list of options in the top right corner. Click on that and access the player settings. Uncheck DASH PLAYBACK. Youtube should now force the video to load faster.
Youtube Center is available for Mozilla and Opera. For Internet Explorer and Chrome, it’s a little more difficult to get.
Get Past Computer Blocks at Work and School
We are all responsible adults, aren’t we? Okay, maybe sometimes we stray at work and school and just want to laze around for a couple minutes…or hours. Either way, those websites can be blocked, which is pretty annoying. The solution, however, is pretty awesome. Just go to Google Translate and paste the URL into the first box.
Click on the “translated” link in the second box. You’ll see this;
Hit SEE ORIGINAL PAGE to access the site and you’re in.
