Did Anyone See The Walkers?
Anybody else see the Walking Dead Super Bowl commercial premiere last Sunday? No? ME NEITHER. And I was livid. To the point where I got online to find out, what happened immediately after the 49ers lost. The ad was to be expected, especially since The Walking Dead cast posted pictures on their social networks and there were countless articles on the matter, including my own. So imagine my disappointment that I posted something that wasn’t true. Well, wasn’t mostly true.

Where Can We Watch The Commercial?
Due to my snooping I was able to find out that the Walking Dead Super Bowl commercial did air, but only to select areas. Which areas and what cable networks, I couldn’t find out exactly, but it did air to some. Just not me. Which was disappointing. The ad also premiered online earlier in the day, and if I would have known that little bit of information I would have forgone the entire Super Bowl all together, found the commercial online, and saved myself the torture of staring down the television during each commercial break. But after searching for the commercial online, I was able to find it easily on YouTube and AMC.com.

For those who haven’t seen the commercial yet, it was a Time Warner produced commercial that highlighted Time Warner Cable, stating “whatever you’re passionate about, Time Warner Cable invents better ways for you to love it even more,” while showing each family member enjoying The Walking Dead on their televisions and computer screens while interacting with walkers and Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on the show.
Was it worth the wait and did it wet my appetite for the Walking Dead on Feb. 10th? I understand that the commercial wasn’t made to be a trailer for the upcoming second half of season 3 ( there is a trailer out for that, go watch it), and I respect that. So in that aspect the commercial was fine. And Daryl. Daryl, Daryl, Daryl, I’d watch you in anything.
