Ashton Kutcher jOBS Biopic Premiering at Sundance 2013

Premiering at Sundance in 2013, Steve Jobs will get the Ashton Kutcher star treatment in Joshua Michael Stern’s movie biopic “jOBS”. Kutcher is only one out of a handful of stars slated to star in the picture. The movie chronicles 30 years in the life of Steve Jobs, covering his ascension from college drop-out to an innovative tech icon at the helm of Apple Inc.

Lots of curiosity and excitement surrounded the film, ever since TMZ captured images of Kutcher’s “Jobs Makeover”.

“jOBS” will be the closing-night film at Sundance, which runs January 17 to 27 in Park City, Utah. Those with plenty of questions surrounding the film will have all the answers they need as long as they attend the premiere.

Trevor Groth, who is the festivals director of programming said jOBS was chosen to close the event because “there’s something inspirational about it. To see what he achieved by just staying true to his vision is something that I think a lot of people can relate to and get hope from.”

At Sundance, jOBS will be featured with 17 other films including, Amanda Seyfried’s “Lovelace” (Deep Throat), which is about the first pornographic film to gain mainstream attention in 1972, making its star, Linda Lovelace a media sensation. The movie also stars James Franco and Sharon Stone among many others.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be making his directorial debut, with “Don Jon’s Addiction”; about a selfish modern-day Don Juan who attempts to change his life. The cast includes Levitt himself, along with Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore.
