Ghost Girl: Best Prank Ever

The Ring - Samara You have to wonder what you would do in the same situation. A Brazilian ‘prank’s show’ holds back nothing when it comes to literally scaring the crap out of people. The video is quickly going viral and with very good reason. Besides being hilarious, it also provokes a lot of thought – honestly, what would you do if this happened to you? How would you react afterwards; more importantly how would you react during?

The show in question is called Silvio Santos; and within its programming selection is a wonderful segment called “Having Fun with Hidden Camera’s”.

This particular video blends together two specific fears. One, being trapped in an elevator in the pitch black; and two, having the ghost of small girl appear in the elevator when the lights flicker back on. We should probably mention that the ‘Ghost Girl’ in this video is not unlike Samara from the Ring. If you dig a little into Brazilian culture, you find out quickly that Brazil is known for being very superstitious. This is mainly because of the countries deeply rooted religious history.

So, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine how they feel about little girl ghost demons magically appearing in a darkened elevator. I wonder what would happen if a similar prank was played somewhere in America – a very large lawsuit waiting to happen? Check out the video below.

What would you do? Leave a comment below and let us know…

I have yet to find out why this is so buzzworthy. I get that was a very well-planned hidden camera prank but its success is still kind of baffling to me. Anyway, it had me laughing for a good couple of days, and is definitely worth watching it!

"a wonderful segment called “Having Fun with Hidden Camera’s”." No. I doubt very much that it's called that.
