The list goes in no particular order, I did however specify whether or not its kid friendly.
Enjoy!
#1 Plants VS Zombies
Play on: Android, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Kindle Fire
Age: 10+
This is a great strategy game and plays out in cartoon style. Plants VS Zombies is a huge hit, and contains minimal violence. Players grow a defensive garden with hybrid plants who fend off an onslaught of hungry zombies – word of caution though…this is one very addictive game.
#2 The Creeps
Play on: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch
Age: 10+
This is a colourful and fun tower defense game – very similar in concept to Plant’s vs. Zombies. Players must place weapons along the path to stop the creeps from getting under your bed. Some strategy is needed in placing specific weapons to maximize efficiency. Another fun loving addicting zombie game.
#3 Twisted Lands – Shadow Town Collector’s Edition
Play on: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch
Age: 13+
Twisted Land is a spooky zombie-themed adventure game not intended for the very young. Players take on the character Mark as he searches for his girlfriend on a haunted island. This is a hidden-object-adventure, and takes some patience and good old fashion thinking at times. Overall a great game to play.
#4 Zombie Gunship
Play on: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch
Age: 13+
Now this one is kind of unique – it’s a bit slower paced zombie shoot’em style game, where you shoot from the air. Rather than the usual zombie game, where players hunt down zombies for a blood and gore filled adventure, Zombie Gunship has you in a C-130 high above as you defend a base from the sky. With this game you will find a push for in-app purchases, but it’s a ton of fun none-the-less.
#5 Zombie Wonderland
Play on: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch
Age: 13+
This is a cartoon style shoot’em up Zombie game. Lots of fun, with homor and goo, perfect recipe for zombie lovers everywhere. You get to be a “Zombie Cleaner”, and you’re not only hired to kill the zombies, you also have to clean up the guts – some serious grossness but a load of fun.
#6 Pro Zombie Soccer
Play on: iPad, iPhone, iPad Touch
Age: 14+
PRO ZOMBIE SOCCER pits a teenage soccer player against hordes of flesh-eating Zombies. More of a Zombie killing game than soccer – you play the hero who can knock off zombie heads with one swift kick.

#7 Zombie Highway
Play on: iPhone, iPod Touch
Age: 14+
This is fast-paced zombie game with incredible controls. You get to drive and knock zombies off your car, but it’s much more compelling than that. After you crash or get flipped onto the roof by the zombies, it will take a lot of control to just leave the game…you will want to give it another go. Not a game for the very young.
#8 Zombieville USA 2
Play on: Android, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch
Age: 14+
Really, who needs a sophisticated plot line when it comes to a zombie game? But, if that’s what you are looking for, you won’t find it here. With Zombieville USA 2, players get a straightforward battle against hordes of the undead. Lots of violence in cartoonish style with a huge selection of weapons.
#9 Zombie Smash HD
Play on: iPad
Age: +15
Blood, gore and violence – the way a zombie game should be. The game is both fun and challenging, making it very appealing to older players. You’ll find some cool action here and equally cool weapons to smack the zombies around.
#10 Walking Dead the Game
Play on: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch
Age: 16+
If you love the show or just zombies in general, then you have to play this game. Its amazing from top to bottom, well written, and incredibly challenging. Players must navigate the screen with finger swipes and investigate objects by pointing and tapping. Here’s where you get hooked: Your decisions in the game will impact your play greatly. While interacting with other characters you are usually given a choice of three responses or silence. Characters will remember what they are told, so if you’re caught in a lie it will come back and bite you.
